how empty could you be today?

Does it ever feel lonely?

You are growing colonies

magnificent branches,

like the salutary bacteria

assisting mortals to stay alive

but, could they ever be enough?

To the mass,

you are just a gate,

a gateway;

as you say.

What's in it for you?

you're just bolting them

like an ecstasy

skipping the reality

But you do have a few,

a few regarding your worth.

They are not here to

take, take, take

but to give, give, give
